THE NARRATIVE

This story deals with themes of isolation and consequence in the context of the life of an Australian Bushranger. It follows the story of Teddy “The Jew Boy” and the Jew Boy Gang and their self-inflicted downfall during their 4-month reign in the hunter region. This story takes us from a botched robbery and a murder in Scone to a desperate flea for their buried hoard at Pilchers cave, and finally to their final stand at Doughboys Hollow. The Newcastle and Lake Macquarie area is teaming with rich history, however these pink ribbon wearing ‘Robin Hood-esque figures of the region have all but faded from its consciousness.
